Tom Sherrington Workshop - Tom Sherrington is an education consultant and author. He writes the popular blog teacherhead.com and his books include The Learning Rainforest and best-seller Rosenshine’s Principles in Action. Mostly recently he co-authored Teaching WalkThrus with Oliver Caviglioli. With 30 years' experience as a physics and maths teacher and school leader, including 11 years as a Headteacher, Tom is in demand from schools across the UK and around the world to deliver CPD for teachers and leadership teams. The Importance of Cyber Security - Steve Hodgson from Durham County Council, along with Claire Turnbull from Durham Constabulary, offer an informative insight into the importance of Cyber Security and how you can ensure the safety of your assets, colleagues, staff and children. Let us tell you about the current thinking and the County Durham Pound Project. We'll discuss how Social Value can enhance your curriculum objectives, how you can link into the benefits of Social Value, and show you real examples delivered via our projects with contract partners. Education Durham - A whistle-stop tour around the new support and improvement packages available to schools and settings in 2022/23. Working with local practitioners, leaders and external partners, Education Durham have developed bespoke leadership programmes like "Investing in Leaders", headteacher wellbeing packages, new attendance and safeguarding support, and research programmes examining aspects of great teaching. You might get some bonus audit takeaways and other useful resources, too. Energy Management - Showcasing opportunities to save energy and associated costs by effective energy management and monitoring through the ECO2 Smart Schools Programme.
