The electricity contract provides access to an electricity supply and associated services for non-domestic sites. This includes sites that are settled on the half hourly (HH), non-half hourly (NHH) and unmetered supply (UMS) markets.
Our contract
The contract was established after a major tendering exercise conducted by the North East Procurement Organisation (NEPO) involving all authorities across the North East region.

Notice period
A single site included within a Customer Call-Off Contract will be required to provide notice by October to exit the Framework Agreement by the following 31 March. If notice is not provided in October, then that site will be committed to the contract until the end of the following financial year. For example, if a site provided notice in October 2019 their last day using the contract will be 31 March 2020. If a site provides notice in November 2019, their last day using the contract will be 31 March 2021.
