Smoothwall underpins your school’s safeguarding/safe use policies and procedures to effectively manage pupil and staff access. Your school is advised to nominate an administrator who has the ability to block and unblock websites. In line with safeguarding/safe use this needs a policy which documents and records changes made and by whom.

Smoothwall is a fully configurable onsite solution offering age appropriate, pupil/staff filtering solution for your school.

Comprehensive reporting which can be fully automated, provides vital security and evidence of monitoring user access and inappropriate use which is identifiable to user and device.

In addition to an effective filtering system it is important that children have appropriate supervision at all times and are taught to use the internet safely.
