Newly qualified teacher programme (primary)

NQTs attend a three day programme (one per term) based on our knowledge of those areas that NQTs find most challenging at the start of your careers. The days will be responsive to feedback from induction tutors and NQTs and will take account of areas of need, brought to light through the induction reports received throughout the year.

Each day combines a series of compulsory sessions, a selection of workshops facilitated by experienced and qualified professionals and opportunities to network. You will get the chance to reflect on current educational thinking and research and key documents and additional reading will be recommended.

Primary education development adviser (EDAs) will be available throughout the day to offer support and for NQTs working in the Early Years there will be specific Early Years sessions planned and delivered by members of the Early Years EDA team.
