Great work by the Durham County Council plumbing team, led by installer Stephen Duff, in successfully completing a gas boiler upgrade at a nursery school during term time.
Despite the challenges of working in a live school environment, the team ensured there was no disruption to essential services by installing temporary immersion heaters, maintaining a continuous hot water supply throughout the project.
In addition, the team were able to resolve an underfloor heating issue, bringing the system back to full operation and improving comfort within the school.
A strong example of careful planning, teamwork, and commitment to delivering quality improvements while keeping key facilities fully operational.
