Durham Leadership Centre, Spennymoor, DL16 6YP
Education Durham’s second annual computing showcase brings together a variety of expertise showcasing useful technologies and pedagogy to promote best practice in the delivery of the primary computing curriculum.
Featuring a variety of workshops and presentations, themes of the 2023 showcase include:
- delivering computing with or alongside other subjects
- deep dives and computing
- transition to secondary computing
- introduction to various technologies
A marketplace will enable delegates to speak to workshop presenters and take a closer look at technologies. There will also be an opportunity to discuss curriculum needs with computing subject advisers and network with peers.
Contributors include Avantis, Kinetic Education, Spark, CAD2CODE CIC, National Centre for Computing Education, and ICT Services.
The showcase is for Primary Computing Curriculum Leads but may also be of interest to senior leaders in schools with responsibility for the computing curriculum. One free place is available to schools who currently hold a Primary Computing Curriculum Service Level Agreement or Education Support and Development Service Level Agreement. Additional places cost £60 for partners or £120 for non-partners.
Free gift for first 50 delegates and a free prize draw.
