New webinar available for primary leaders and teachers – Apps to bring History to Life!

Education Durham is proud to be working with Glenn Carter to bring you a wealth of different apps that can be used to make the teaching of history more engaging, more visual and more exciting, in this fantastic new webinar.

Glenn Carter (History Rocks) is a full time teacher and history coordinator in the North East of England. He is a member of the Historical Association’s Primary Committee and provides specialist primary history support for Education Durham. Glenn brings history to the forefront of the curriculum, with his creative workshops, resources and blogs. Glenn works with primary teachers to develop their abilities to deliver quality history lessons and planning.

The webinar will:

  • identify how technology can be used to enhance the school’s history curriculum with a variety of different apps and technology
  • explore why it is becoming more important than ever to embrace technology to create engagement, along with examples of good practice and implementation of these apps

Audience: senior leaders, middle leaders and teachers
