The new build café situated at NETPark, Sedgefield has been designed by Construction Consultancy Services and built on behalf of Business Durham by the Construction Services Team.
NETpark Café is a new build, 172m2 single storey café located centrally on the NETPark estate, that will cater for the current customers and future Phase 3 development. The Café was designed to be bespoke with an industrial look inside and out, with a rusted finish cladding and open feature ceiling void. There will be an internal seating area and external patio seating area for the summer. The site boasts a commercial standard kitchen that can cater for up to 150 meals a day and external events catering.
The benefits we looked to achieve were:
- providing an informal hub where everyone can meet, eat and relax
- high standard refreshment facility with modern facilities which will offer a positive welcome to the park
- allowing a current business to expand into the old café area
- helping to improve facilities on the park that will potentially help to expand the current Parks businesses portfolio and is a key component in the parks future expansion plans
Construction Consultancy Services aim was to create a welcoming, modern site that we are proud to highlight as one of our flagship projects, and has been awarded with a fantastic score of 40/50 by the Considerate Constructors Scheme.
The 22 week project was completed on time and within budget.
