Construction ServicesΒ have worked in partnership withΒ Construction Consultancy ServiceΒ on a phased refurbishment project and have created an improved and energy-efficient office environment. This project was successfully completed in summer 2021.

The project, which commenced in 2019, included replacing timber windows, soffits, and facias with new UPVC double glazed windows, electrical and mechanical works, flooring, decoration, and the installation of a new passenger lift.Β  A new large modern office space has been created with separate seating areas, lockers, cloakroom, and fitted kitchen areas. Β New meeting rooms have been created, equipped with an electronic room booking system.

The project also included the external landscaping to the quadrangle.

About the project

The Inspire Transformation Programme looked to bring a change to the Council, with a focus on changing the way we work to improve the service we can provide to customers.Β  Inspiring Places are flexible working spaces that are paper-lite and clutter free.
